Renaissance
Renaissance will be your home from home during her inaugural Ambassador season. An intimate and comfortable ship, recently renovated in France, with a multi-lingual crew. Join one of our voyages and discover the elegance and charm of Renaissance. With an average 1,100-guest capacity and careful configuration, she offers a feeling of spaciousness and freedom. You will experience this as soon as you step on-board, where the laid-back atmosphere and stylish interiors greet you with the warmest of welcomes.
Her dining options will inspire you with one main restaurant split across two decks, speciality dining options*, and a more casual buffet-style restaurant. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink in one of her bars and lounges. Or take in a show in the tiered main theatre, or discover your hidden talents in the card room, library and craft studio.
Other facilities include the wellness centre, gym, a swimming pool with retractable roof and a range of retail shops, perfect for days at sea.
gratuties
For your greater convenience, we operate an automatic service charge and gratuity system which is automatically added to your onboard account.
For all guests an amount of £7 per person per night (£6 per person per night on cruises of 16 nights or more per night) - will be automatically added to your onboard account. For children aged 12-17 years of age, where applicable on a multi-generational sailing, an amount of £4 per person per night will be automatically added to your onboard account.
Ambition & Ambience will be priced in Pound Sterling. Renaissance will be priced at an equivalent rate in Euros.
All service charges and gratuities are collated so a portion goes to each crew member who helps to make your cruise special. This includes our hard-working front of house team. But, also, the team who work behind the scenes on board to help deliver the Ambassador experience.
If you notice an issue that makes you think twice about our service charge, be sure to speak with one of our Guest Services Team who will try to resolve the matter before a charge adjustment becomes necessary. Even if you had a negative experience with a particular employee, seriously consider whether it warrants removing your gratuities altogether, keeping in mind that because of one crew member the whole team is affected. Of course, if you want to also reward a crew member personally in addition for excellent service, feel free to do so!
If you purchase one of our Ambassador Drinks Packages, gratuities are also included. However, please note that the gratuity contribution cannot be removed from any of the packages.
